Dads, when was the last time you went on a date with your daughter? We have a fun list of ideas, broken down by age group. Put a few of these on your calendar and watch your little princess’s face light up as she spends time with the #1 man in her life.

Preschool

~ Go to Lowe’s for their Build and Grow classes

~ Have lunch or dinner followed by a special trip to Build a Bear

~ Go Roller Skating or Ice Skating together

~ Go fossil hunting at the Falls of the Ohio

Elementary School

~ Go for lunch followed with a trip to the batting cages or putt putt

~ Go jump at House of Boom

~ Get dressed up and go out for a fancy dinner followed by ice cream or a trip to the bookstore to pick out a book to read together (flowers would be fun to give as well).

~ Have a backyard camping trip-make smores and sleep under the stars (or in a tent).

Middle School

~ Explore photography by taking pictures of family/friends/nature/etc and make a photo book together

~ Go out and have some fun at Renaissance Family Fun Park or Kart Kountry

~ Find a bowling alley and play a few games

~ Pick a museum you’ve never explored and check it out. Some examples include the Muhammed Ali Center, the Louisville Slugger Museum, the Frazier History Museum, or the Kentucky Science Center.

High School

~ Take a class together such as a crafting class, cooking class, music lessons or art class

~ Go on an adventure and try zip lining or the aerial ropes course at the Louisville Mega Caverns
