Review of NoBaked Cookie Dough Louisville

DCPD

I had a meeting today at Heine Brothers on Blankenbaker Pkwy right off of I-64. When I pulled up, right before my eyes was a pink sign that made me think…….why didn’t I schedule the meeting at this place?! It was NoBaked Cookie Dough that just opened in Louisville.

I walked in to NoBaked and first noticed their nice Louisville decor – I huge white wall with Louisville on it and a great city skyline painted on another wall. I liked those touches. The place was extremely clean and not too busy, it was a Tuesday afternoon. I have heard the line is out the door on the weekends since they are new to the area.

I browsed the menu and knew that I would just get a simple scoop to be nice to by wallet. One scoop is $5 and toppings at 50 cents each. They also have drinks and a $10 sundae that I assume you would share!

I taste-tested the s’mores and peanut butter based on recommendations from staff and decided to go with the s’mores. I noticed they also had several dairy free options. I did ask if there were any flavors that were easier on my waistline and basically…..the answer is this is dessert so don’t worry about that! You can add ice cream for $3 and a cone for $1.50. I went with a simple cup.

The cookie dough was really very good. It was smooth but had a slight crunch of the sugar. Mine had just enough chocolate chips throughout and some marshmallow cream. I didn’t ask for water but I should have! One scoop was just enough for me, I actually only ate half and took a lid to take the rest home, it is rich. Next time, I think I’m going to try the red velvet.

The owner also mentioned that soon, they hope to be offering catering options.
