Are you looking for Easter egg hunts in Louisville? There are so many places to get outside and have fun with your family this year for Easter. There are also plenty of places to visit the Easter Bunny in Louisville.

Nothing says spring like getting out to search for those eggs. There are so many events that you can find one close to you or one that’s new to you with no problem. Most of these events are free so that’s even better. Easter egg hunts are very popular in Louisville so if you want, you can attend multiple.

Below, you can also find a spot to visit the Easter bunny! In the event that the weather looks questionable for any given day, check the locations Facebook page or give them a call to see if an event is still on before heading out.

March 22

Easter Eggstravagnaza with FEAT & Down Syndrome of Louisville – 10:00am-12:00pm.

March 23

Eggstravaganza – Northeast Christian Church, join them for a morning of fun featuring an interactive children’s Easter story, a dance party, crafts, face painting, donuts, and of course the Easter bunny! Timed Easter Play and Family Outreach Activity at 10 am, 11 am, and 12 pm in the Main Auditorium.

SAFARI EGGVENTURE  –

EGGsplore your Zoo again this spring with a EGGcelent scavenger hunt game that allows you to dive deep into the Zoo while searching for hidden zoo-themed eggs, answering trivia questions and competing in some EGGstra special challenges. Experience the fun March 29-April 20. You can play for fun or compete to win EGGciting prizes like a Zoo membership, Wild Lights tickets, plush animals and more! Safari EGGventure is FREE with Zoo admission or membership.

April 5-19

Easter Bunny Express – Climb aboard the Easter Bunny Express as it departs the French Lick Depot on a trip to the Easter Egg field. Guests 11 & under will have an opportunity to search for eggs and pose for pictures with the Easter Bunny himself. Weekends in April

April 5

Jeff Parks Annual Easter Egg Hunt – Vissing Park in Jeffersonville. Join them for food trucks, inflatables, fun, and – of course – eggs! Activities kick off at 2pm and the egg hunts begin at 4pm. DON’T FORGET YOUR BASKET! The Easter Bunny will be there too! 

Easter EGG-stravaganza – Gather your family and friends and stop by between 10am and 1pm to enjoy fun, laughter, and the meaning of the season at Gethsmane Baptist Church.

New Albany Easter Egg Hunt – Join them for an egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt! Bring your basket and see how many eggs you can collect, then cash them in for a goody bag full of treats! Enjoy music, games, crafts and a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny! 9-11am

Eggstravaganza Family Fun – East End Farmer’s Market, 8am-1pm, 13060 Factory Lane. Local Foods, Artisan Crafts, Live Music, Kids Activities & Games, & More

Pancakes with the Easter Bunny – Join them for a pancake breakfast and photos with the Easter Bunny! The Jeffersonian, 10617 Taylorsville Rd, $8 per person, children 2 and under free! Pay at door, cash or card; taxes and fees included.

April 13

Floyd County EasterFest – Join them for the second-annual Floyd County EasterFest. They will have egg hunts, petting zoo, photos with the Easter Bunny, and more! 2-5pm

April 19

Easter Egg Hunt – Come out to Maples Park for the fifth annual egg hunt sponsored by Crestwood United Methodist Church! Two EGG HUNT times are offered. Bring your basket! (This is a free public event!) The hunt is for toddlers through 5th graders. 12pm & 1:30pm

Bunny Bash Easter Dash – Bring your own basket/bag for a fun-filled Easter Egg hunt for ages 12-under, held at the Family Activities Park, 1000 Park St. A Special Needs Hunt kicks off the event at 10 a.m. The four age division Egg Hunts takes place starting at 11 a.m. with the 0-2 Year-Olds, followed by the older divisions. The Park will open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Easter Egg Hunt & Celebration with Beargrass Christian Church starting at 11:00 AM, Brown Park, Louisville, KY, St. Matthew’s Area. All are welcome! Join them at Brown Park for an exciting Easter egg hunt! Children of all ages, up to fifth grade, are welcome to participate in the search for colorful eggs filled with treats and surprises.

Easter Eggspress Train Ride at the Kentucky Railway Museum for a 12:00pm or 2:00pm train ride. (lasting for about 90-minutes) *Tickets needed

Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade – The 31st Annual Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade is coming to The Avenue on Saturday, April 19th! This free, family-friendly event kicks off at 11:30am in front of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and will travel down Frankfort Avenue to Pope Street. The day will be full of color, candy, and character, with homemade floats, dance groups, antique cars, trucks, the Easter Bunny, and more! 
 
Egg-stravganza – Clarksville’s Gateway Park, 10:00am-2:00pm. Egg hunt, bounce houses, face painters, and more.
 
Easter on the Square – Come and meet the Easter Bunny as he visits the City of Jeffersontown on April 19th from 12 pm – 1:30 pm. The Easter Bunny will be available to meet everyone and take photos in front of Jeffersontown City Hall, 10416 Watterson Trail.
 
Tyler Park Easter Egg Hunt – Hop on over to Tyler Park on at 12:00 PM for a fun-filled Easter celebration! Kids of all ages are invited to hunt for eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, and enjoy an afternoon of springtime fun.
 
Easter Eggstravaganza – CC Powersports, Registration begins at 11, hunt starts at noon! Food & Shaved Ice trucks will be on the lot alongside the Teddy Bear Mobile, a face painter & a cotton candy tent! The Easter Bunny dropped off some golden eggs, too!
