Farm Animal Feeding at Blackacre Conservancy – Experience the charm of farm life select Saturday mornings by helping them feed the cows, horses, and goats! Enjoy a hands-on adventure in the goat pasture and feed the goats using grain bowls we provide. July 11 & 25, 9:30am.
On Sundays:
Cherokee Triangle Summer Concert Series at Willow Park 7 – 9 pm.

Independence Day Events around Louisville
July 2
The Louisville Orchestra’s free Independence Day Weekend Community Concert, “Play America” celebrating America’s 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. This family-friendly event promises an evening filled with music, food trucks, and free fun activities. America Place at River Ridge

FridayFest – Highview Park, 6:00-10:00pm, Local music, local food trucks, and community socializing every other Friday, throughout the Summer. 7122 Briscoe Lane.
July 12
South Points Buy Local air – Find diversity and adventure in South Louisville with neighborhood independent businesses. Free parking and free admission at Iroquois Amphitheater. Join them for music, kid’s area, food and local libations, as well as the heart of the Fair: shopping from local businesses! 12-4pm
July 18
Christmas in July Market – East End Farmers Market, 13060 Factory Ln, 9am-2pm. Local Foods, Artisan Crafts, Gifts, Live Music, Kids Activities, & More.
July 17-19
Summer StoryWalk – Wander the Egg Lawn Signature Trail and read a children’s book page by page as you go. Each stop includes a new part of the story and fun activities. The Summer StoryWalk® is free and open to all from dawn to dusk. It will open on Friday, July 17th, and close on Sunday, July 19th. Their Featured Story is Give Bees a Chance by Bethany Barton.
July 29
Waterfront Wednesday – Big Four Lawn at Waterfront Park, located next to the Big Four Pedestrian Bridge. Music starts at 6pm, lawn opens at 5pm.
