Summer Family Fun Runs and Walks in and around Louisville, KY
Get out and run or walk! We have a list of fun races coming up. Pick your favorites and make it a family fun event!
June
June 6th: Kids Helping Kids Triathlon at 10:00am at Home of the Innocents. 5 and over $20, 4 and under $10
June 6th: Run the World 5K starting at 9:00am at Iroquois Park. $25.00 Race Fee + $2.50 SignUp Fee
June 13th: Powered with Pride 5K Run/Walk: 8:30am; Comfy Cow Chase Kid’s Fun Run: 10:15am at Cherokee Park Hogan’s Fountain
June 13th: Run for the Hills at Weiglib Stadium FC 6575 Old Vincennes Rd Floyds Knobs, IN 47119. Kids can participate in a youth 400 or 200 meter run. Various prices depending on what you decide to run
June 13th: The Color Run starting at 8am at Waterfront Park. $55 for individuals.
June 20th: The Chocolate 5K starting at 8am at the Louisville Water Tower. $35 until day of race, $40 day of race.
June 20th: Crusade Barnyard Dash starting at 8am and located at Joe Huber Family Farm and Restaurant. 10K Run or 5K Walk: $20 (received by June 18), $25 (race day) Youth 1 Mile or 1/4 Mile: $6 (through June 20)
June 20th: Jill’s Wish 5K starting at 8am at Iroquois Park. $25.00 Race Fee + $2.50 SignUp Fee
July
July 11th: Firecracker 5K at Westport Park starting at 8am. $20.00 early registration, $25.00 after
July 25th: Lunar 5K Louisville at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium starting at 8pm. Various prices depending on age.
July 29th: St. Matthews Mid-Summer’s Night 5K Run/Walk at 8pm starting at Bethel St. Paul parking lot. $27 through July 27th.
August
August 1st: Grand Slam 4 miler Run/Walk at Louisville Slugger Field starting at 8am.
August 8th: Urban Stampede starting at 9am Downtown Louisville. $90 until July 5th.
August 8th and 9th: Family Obstacle MUD RUN // Oldham County YMCA: Buckner, KY August 8 (10:00am-2:00pm) & 9 (12:00pm-3:00pm), 2015
August 15th: LBA Ramble starting at 8:30am at The Parklands-Beckley Creek Park. $35.00 Race Fee + $3.00 SignUp Fee
August 15th: Warrior 4 Miler beginning on the campus of Christian Academy of Indiana off Grantline Rd starting at 8am. $25 registration fee
August 22nd: Kicking Butt 5K at Iroquois Park with 8 a.m. KidZone and Healthy Village open; honorary posters turned in 8:40 a.m. Celebrating Survivors 8:45 a.m. Registration Closes 9 a.m. And they’re off!! $20 registration
